Blank pages until several refreshes

    I have an issue whereby if I view a page or post after being in wp admin, I first encounter a blank page. I then have to refresh the page several times before the page, post will appear. I also sometimes see the domain parking page before the page/post appears.

    This issues also happens when I am using the WP iOS app

    I am using a 4 site multisite installation updated to the latest WP (4.3)

    I have used the domain mapping plugin for a number of years without issue, but started coming up with blank issues when I added a 3rd site.

    I tried deactivating all plugins and reinstalling. I have cleared the cache. I have followed the instruction to setup plugin as per here using the plugin options as suggested

    Check your server error logs to see if you can find an error message.

    Although I have a bit of technical knowledge, I’m not a developer

    How would I go about checking server logs ?

    The site is hosted on an AWS server

    For checking your server logs, you’ll have to ask your hosting technical support, every host has their own place for them.

    The Ottopress instructions are so ancient they no longer are clear, including different terms and locations for the WordPress menus.

    My instructions from 2012 have enough updates to include the latest version of the plugin. Covers what some of the options do, and also has installation and troubleshooting.

    For your “3rd site” problem, you might be giving an incorrect “Site ID”, that is a common mistake (and Ottopress doesn’t cover it).
