I just installed the WP.org package onto my server and added the same template that I had in my original WP.com blog (via the plugin feature. Now, I can reach the home page of the blog fine, and the external links to other sites are working OK…but when I attempt to navigate through the site through links within the blog, I get a blank page or an error page. I went over to my Plesk editor to check the comments-php and index.php files, but I only get white screens.

Is the problem with my initial setup of the wordpress folder in my server, or is it a host issue?

    Any help would be appreciated.

My site is https://redgarterclubwebsite.com ; the associated blog is located at https://redgarterclubwebsite.com/wordpress or https://redgarterclubwebsite.com/redgarterclubwebsite/wordpress ; and it is hosted via Laughingsquid.net

  • Anthonyk what version of plesk are you using, Plesk 8.0.1? I just had this problem, or similar one occur with me as well. Its something to do with 2.0.0 to 2.0.4 or a db issue, trying to figure it out.

Let me know if someone finds a solution [email protected]

    thanks

    OK…problem resolved. ??

For me it was simply a matter of going to the “General Options” page of my Dashboard and adding the “index.php” extension to the URL address listed…as in “https://yoursite.com/subsegment/index.php”. I had omitted it when I originally did the set up.

For the record, Jason, the version of Plesk I’m using is Ver. 7.5.4; which came with my LaughingSquid.net hosting package. I’m not sure if I can update it without their approval.

I believe that my WP version is the latest 2.0.4, so unless there might be a db or an upgrade issue, I wouldn’t be in a position to help solve your issue.

    But thanks for the help.
