Blank PDF on Windows

  • Hello,

    I’m using DK PDF with Event Ticket Plus.
    It’s working great on Mac, the tickets are displayed well but on Windows, a lot of clients receive a blank PDF (or just with the grey rectangle).
    How can I do to fix that?
    I would be happy if you have a quick answer because the sell of this tickets is running and there’s a lot of reclamations from clients…

    Hi p1erre,

    try to set PDF Button / Action as ‘Download PDF directly’ to see if the problem persist.

    thanks for your quick answer,
    but I already tried to select that and it seems that the browsers have more power on this action than the code… I tried myself to download a PDF on Windows and the problem was recurrent…

    Do you have an other idea of what’s happening and how I can fix that?

    Hi Emili!
    I have the same problem with dk pdf and event ticket plus. If the customers open the pdf on the mac in preview everything is ok. But in Adobe Acrobat or Acrobat Pro they get only a white sheet with gray box. Is there a solution?

    Is the pdf rendering correctly in the browser? I mean with PDF Button / Action / Open PDF in new Window selected, when you click the PDF button, the PDF is generated correctly?

    can you provide a URL where I can see it?

    the rendering is ok and the pdf looks ok in the window. (same and new window). the shop is already running and i can’t add a new ticket there. i have a local installation with the same problems. is there a way to send you the pdf-ticket?

    Hi herbi1969,

    did you tried PDF Button / Action as ‘Download PDF directly’? I mean, this option will generate the PDF from the library (mPDF) and not from the browser.

    yes, still the same problem. In preview on mac the pdf is ok. In acrobat or acrobat pro it’s just a white page with a grey box.

    When i download the pdf in acrobat and open it again from hdd with acrobat it’s again the white page. The same pdf in mac preview is ok!
