• Hi,
I migrated the website to a new hosting provider. However, after the migration, I encountered an issue with the “related post” (images) section in the blog articles. The “<a href…” link appears to be functioning correctly, but the “src=”” attribute is empty. I suspect that the problem stems from old image references lingering in the extras plugin files from the previous server. It seems I’ll need to manually update these references. Could you advise me on where to locate and update these references within the extras files?

    PS: reinstall plugin don’t work

    Hello @lupid,

    Thank you for reaching out,

Please share a live URL from the post.
So I can check the console error and source of the page to understand this issue.

For troubleshooting, please do the following steps and let us know the results:

    0. Enable the primary theme(if you are using a child theme).
    1. Head over to WP Dashboard > Plugins.
    2. Deactivate all plugins.
    3. Then, first, activate Ocean Extra plugin.
    4. Check your issue.
    5. Then, activate your plugins one by one
    6. After activation of any plugins, check your issue

Note 1: You can try troubleshooting on the staging website/or on a fresh installation and ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme and plugins(before updating, please get a full backup from your website).

Note 2: If you have any cache plugin or server cache(CDN / Browser Cache and Cookies and …), you need to clear its cache contents or disable them to see your changes. Also, remember to click on the regenerate all assets file and data in Elementor > Tools(if you have Elementor).

    Hello @lupid,

Can you confirm that your single post items have a featured image?
I couldn’t find any featured images for all single posts(I’ve checked some single posts), so the related posts don’t show any images: https://postimg.cc/CZrD6Vk9.
By default, if you don’t have a featured image in the theme, it’ll not show the “img” tag in the related post section. Do you have customization in this section? For example, changes in the child theme, etc.

We have not received any similar reports so far, and we can not reproduce that issue on our end. We need to know how to replicate your steps to arrive the issue on a fresh WordPress installation.

If all posts have appropriate featured images, you may want to contact your hosting provider to investigate and resolve the issue.

    Best Regards

Every post from “realizations” (realizacje) have featured image – the are used to build post section page like here:

    https://www.pin-plotkowiak.com/pl/realizacje/architektura-sakralna/

That prove featured image are ok and work fine.
In oceanWP theme: Blog–>single entry, the featured image display is disable (design purpose).
Related post work on tag match. Such as: show all blog entry with tag: “Szczecin”. I heck tag page too: it “see” featured image:

    https://www.pin-plotkowiak.com/pl/tag/szczecin/

I think problem is migration to new hosting server. And some old address (??in database//Extras core files??) that Ocean Extra using to build images. Don’t know where to search it. Of course wp-config.php is correct after migration (checked).

    Hello @lupid,

Thanks for getting in touch and providing more details.

Yes, you are right. It seems that the issue doesn’t lie within WordPress.
The issue you’re facing with missing related post images after migrating your website to a new host is likely due to outdated image references in the database.

Please get in touch with your host provider, who moved the website from the old hosting to the new one. That would be the next best step. They may have insights specific to the migration process and be able to provide additional guidance or solutions.

Note: If you still have access to the previous version of your website, consider using a migration plugin(https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/search/migration/) and testing this method.

    I hope it helps.
    Best Regards
