We’re interested in using this plugin and upgrading to the Premium version but first need to test it. However, despite following the Documentation instructions and signing in as a YITH chat operator, when the Operator user clicks on the YITH Live chat link in the Dashboard, they just get a blank white page, and front-end users just see “None of our Academic Coordinators are available at the moment. Please, try again later.”

I’ve filled in the URL and secret from the Firebase app, and enabled Chat via WordPress’s Dashboard, but just get a blank page. One potential issue may be that our test site doesn’t have an SSL certificate so is just on http – will it only work via an https URL?

    Many thanks,
    Paul

Thanks for the quick reply, but I’ve uninstalled and re0installed the plugin afresh and I’m still seeing a blank screen as the operator via the Dashboard. The ‘Chat with us’ popup is showing ok for the public user ok, it’s just the back-end that isn’t working. The link the operator is sent to is /wp-admin/admin.php?page=yith_live_chat – is that correct?

    Hi,
that link is correct. Try to activate the debug mode and let me know if some error messages came out.

    Best Regards

I have the same situation, is any others reason for this?
