Blank Screen after activating plugin

I was anxious to test out Gutenberg today but after activating the plugin and starting a new post all I got was a blank screen that didn’t resolve. My host helped me get the default back to classic editor, but now when I try to switch to Gutenberg or view the demo it just reloads my dashboard….

So sorry, you had an unpleasant experience with Gutenberg. I will try to assist you, but I would need more details.When you say “my host helped me to get the default back to classic editor” – do you know what exactly they did? Did they install a different plugin?
There might be another plugin conflict interfering, too as I see there is quite a lot going on your site.
Oh so you are getting the edit post page but it stays blank. Sorry, I misread your earlier message.
There might be a conflict with other plugins. We would need to deactivate one plugin at a time, and test if the problem still exists. With a set of 10 or 15 plugins this might not be possible. This is a live site and it might disrupt parts of your website during that testing for conflict. So we need to be careful.
There is a helper plugin, Health Check, with its Troubleshooting Mode It allows you enable /disable different plugins for you as the administrator, without interrupting the experience of your visitors. They still will see you site as intact.
A better way would be to asked your hosting service if they can assist in setting up a clone of your website, like a sandbox, so you can use that for further testing and leave your live site along.
This might sound a bit too much for you – quite understandably – I might add. Chance are you might not like these kind of puzzles like I do – hardly any one does.
