Blank screen and blank tracking code text box

    Summary of issue(s):

    1) When using wp piwik when multisite activated (vs site by site), everthing option under “Add tracking code:” is blank. See https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-r5llGpXi8xNHdHODZlZUdtQWs/view?usp=sharing

    2) after trying to save changes (or just save period) I get a blank screen on wp-admin/network/settings.php?page=wp-piwik/classes/WP_Piwik.php. Checking the console gives “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)”

    3) when browsing icognito on each site, it looks like the tracking code does show up, is marked with the right site id and the sites are automatically added to the piwik installation. Also, tracking does seem to be occuring. However, I can’t add in custom dimension tracking since the blank screen won’t let me write in the custom code after all the defaults have been set.

    Steps to reproduce the issue:
    Set up multisite,
    connect wp-piwik to piwik via url and token
    enable tracking tab>save

    current results:
    blank screen and no code is present

    Debug steps:
    Disabled all plugins except wp-piwik still having the issue
    tried clearing cache and then resetting wp-piwik via support tab. No luck.

    Install data:

    WP-Piwik 1.0.7 (self hosted running as http api)
    Piwik 2.16.0.
    4.4.2 multisite

    I’m almost ready to go to production and this is the only thing holding me back. Let me know if you have any insight or if there’s anything I can do to help out.

    Did you enable the user name tracking? There seems to be a namespace bug which may cause this issue.

    Please disable user name tracking until 1.0.8 is available.

    If this is not the reason, please check your Apache logfiles to get more information about the 500 error. This may help to identify the real cause.
