Blank screen & no activity

  • After upgrading both WordPress & BackWPup to the latest versions the plugin no longer works. Previous versions were working fine – a great plugin – thanks Daniel.

    All I get when running a job manually is a screen saying “BackWPup Working” but nothing else – just a white page. No progress bar, no messages and no log.

    My host is running php 5.2.17.

    Any help appreciated.

    Thanks for that – I saw your post after I’d done mine and I gave it a go.

    I deactivated and then deleted the database entries and then tried again but no joy. I’ve seen a few posts where all they get is a black rectangle but I don’t even get that!

    I also found that, after doing the above, I had the same problem of being unable to get rid of the first job or rename it. I created a job with a daft name, found that in the database and then deleted the whole lot – it was in the options as backwpup_jobs

    I’ve also tried deleting the plugin and deleting database entries but no joy with that either.
