Hey everyone! I am so frustrated because I’m not sure what I did I installed WP a while ago, then recently bought a theme and was playing aroudn with it. It had been a few weeks since I last tried to logon and I can’t rmember what I did last but now when I try to access the blog, the screen is white. I’m not even prompted for the Admin login. Would this have anything to do with permissions? SHould I start all over again and reinstall WP? Not sure what I;m supposed to do. Please help! Thank you so much!

Thanks for the quick reply. I tried to resolve it by disbling plugins and then trying to use a default theme and neither worked still getting the white screen of death! Now what? What should the permissions be on the folders or is there a specific file I need to check? I rmemeber I had to change permissions at one point but can’t remember on which file or directory and to what new setting.

-try contacting the hosting provider (unless you are your own server) if the database server is online / if they have any other problem at their end, or they made any changes to your account, or if there are any limitations/restrictions, etc .

turns out it was a problem with the permissions on my Themes directory
