Blank screen on wp-admin.php
-
Hi guys,
I had a site completely functional, then tried to log into it a few months later, and I get a blank screen on the wp-login.php and wp-admin.php pages, so can’t log in. The main page is still running, it’s just that I can’t log in to edit it.
I’ve enabled debugging and the only php error noted is a php notice:
[15-May-2014 16:01:26] PHP Notice: wp_deregister_script was called incorrectly. Scripts and styles should not be registered or enqueued until thewp_enqueue_scripts
,admin_enqueue_scripts
, orinit
hooks. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 3.3.) in /home/a4603785/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 2959I’ve tried a number of things gleaned from searching the web for solutions:
< renamed the plugins folder
< rename theme folder (instead of defaulting theme this makes main page blank too)
< overwriting the whole ftp folder with a backup from when it was workingI’ve spent a day trying to figure this out, and I’m losing hope of being able to fix this without some help…
Thanks for reading!
