Blank screen when trying to edit pages

  • My screen turns blank, with the exception of the WP header, when I try to go into Page – Edit.

    Can not view list of pages to edit.

    How can I fix this?

  • Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – disabling Google Gears if you have that running/installed within Firefox?
