    Hi,

    thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.

    Most likely there are some memory issues, as the XLS import is still very experimental. You could try to set WP_DEBUG to true in the wp-config.php file, to get some more erorr information.

    The quickest way should however be to just save the XLS file to CSV in Excel, and then import that.

    I try to import csv and my website import the file correctly.
    The strange thing is that the file that generates error last week, before upgrade, was imported without problems.
    For me it would really important to find the problem because i cannot teach to the client secretary how to convert xls to csv. We have about 100 xls files to manage.

    Hi,

    this indicates that memory issues could be involved.
    Then please try that suggestion regarding WP_DEBUG, so that we can maybe get an error message.
