Hi, I just updated this plugin and after it, whole site(public and admin) went blank. Right after disabling this plugin, site works again. I have newest WP. I can’t now activate plugin again because of this error. Can you help? I have some upcoming events which should be visible asap..

What is your php version? And your mysql/mariadb version?

Hi, PHP version: 5.3.3, 10.2.13-MariaDB-log – MariaDB Server

Your php version is too old (older than 5.4) . I indicate that EME needs at least 5.6.
Update to a newer version (I recommend at least 7.0) and you’re good to go (5.3 is unsupported and end of life since 2014 …)

Hi, sorry my mistake – I already have php 5.6 in use.

I tried to activate plugin again, and I get this error message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /var/www/customers/bomentisfi/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/eme_payments.php on line 1164

If that is your error, then your php version is older than 5.4. There’s a difference in what you see in cpanel and what you get on the server ??

Btw: I have released a version that works for very old (and unsupported by EME!) php versions. In the next version I will try to add some debug tab to the Settings of EME, so we can then immediately see the php and mysql version on the server.
