blank site, all plugins and theme disappeared after update language WP4.2

  • Hi,

    I updated to WP 4.2 on tuesday, and it worked fine.
    Today (saturday), I found there was a language update, but that stuck the whole site: the site is blank, and the theme (Hueman child) and all plugins disappeared from the dashboard. The content is still there, that is the pages, posts and media.
    When I look into the site with FTP, all seems to be there all right, but somehow the ‘connection’ is lost.

    I have no clue how to solve this, so please help!

    perhaps I should add that I installed my site using a web-app. I don’t know if that could cause a problem, although until now everything worked just fine.
