Blank Sitemap :: Your Sitemap does not contain any URLs

    Hi there,

    I’m having some trouble with a blank sitemap and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction please! The link is thehappykamper.com/sitemap.xml but the page appears blank in Chrome and Safari.

    Google Search Console gives me the error: Your Sitemap does not contain any URLs. Please validate and resubmit your Sitemap.

    I’m using the latest version of the Google XML Sitemaps plugin.

    From reading around, I’ve tried:
    – clearing the cache
    – resubmitting my sitemap to google console
    – disabling a security plug in
    – checking my .htaccess file for any changes as I believe I’d been subject to a spam link injection attack recently

    I then disabled Google XML Sitemaps and switched to Yoast’s sitemap functionality (which was previously disabled). I then repeated the above things again but none of these things helped – no change.

    I’d appreciate any advice please!
