Blank space where shortcodes should be

  • Whenever I place a shortcode on a Page or post a blank space appears where the content should be. Various plug ins and codes are giving me the same problem. No videos are showing up when I use different plugins like Artiss YouTube Embed and YouTube Smart Pro. No RSS shortcodes show up, among a host of others.

    I’ve scaled the Web to search this problem and nobody seems to have a solution. As you can imagine it’s infuriating!

    Does anyone know what the problem can be and offer some help?
