Blank Theme, no Stylesheet

    Hello all together

    i’m searching a blank Theme for the current WordPress Version. it should include all general WP functions (f.e. post formats) but i dont want to have pre definied styles.

    so it should be just blank wordpress code with the most important Tags (f.e. Div), but all the class tags i dont need.

    do you know where can i find something like this?

  • I’ve been using underscores (aka _s) for all my custom theme builds lately. You can customize a package for your project at https://underscores.me or get the raw zip at the Github link on that page.

    i think thats could be exactly what i looked for. do anybody use this bootstrap theme? can anybody give a feedback about it?

    I would say that my bootstrap theme is the opposite of what you said you are looking for, which was a “blank theme”. I would suggest something like Toolbox https://www.ads-software.com/extend/themes/toolbox or the Underscores theme Amy recommended.

    ohh hi rachel, and whats the different to your bootstrap? i think this is exactly what i want, no stylesheet, no layout, just simple text. maybe i have written my request a little bit misunderstandable, or whats your bootstrap exactly for?

    I’m also looking for something like this.

    @rachelbaker, the one you have linked to seems ideal except I’d like to have bootstrap or some similar grid system built in, are you aware of any? Or is there some way to simply strip down bootstrapwp?
