• Hi & thx in advance,

I have simply changed the theme, it showed me a correct preview, but when I have clicked “activate theme”, then the site and all of its pages display blank totally (including the login page)

There no solutions crossing my mind, pls give a helping hand on this

    Lorin

  • FTP into your site, go into the wp-content/themes/ folder.

Then delete (or just rename if you’re unsure) the folder containing the theme you’ve just tried to activate.

WordPress *should* revert back to the default theme, allowing you to login again and change it to whichever one you had previously.

    HI,

I have deleted all other themes but the default one, but still diesn’t solve my problem..

    any other idea…?

Few more things to try then…

Temporarily rename your plugins folder (to something like “plugins2” or something, just to rule out some weird plugin problem).
Check the settings in wp-config.php are all correct.
Delete your .htaccess file (keep a backup copy though).

thank you so much, I’ll give it a try…

I have the same problem on 3 site’s, once a day the site’s go blank, but when i upload the wp-includes folder again the site are there, but only for one day.
On these site i use diffirent theme’s and diffirent plugins.
I have update every thing to the latest version.

bartpvakrr, sounds more like you’re getting hacked if that’s the case. You shouldn’t have to keep uploading that folder as it suggests some files are changing in it to prevent your site running. Have a look at the file dates to see if any have been edited. Do they suddenly have extra code in them??

The hackers have hidden code all the way to the right of your index.php page.

Go into your site using your FTP or SFTP or SCP client and look at the latest changes to your blog. You will see changes to index.php and a bunch of other files.

The malicious code is hidden WAAAAAYYYYY over to the right where you might not notice it if you do not use the horizontal scroll bar.

I have every thing working again, thanks ALISM, it was some code, how it came i don’t now, but i have download al files again and put a backup of the database back and change the password of the FTP, and it is working fine now.
