Blank window after "Insert into Post" in Internet Explorer

Hi,

The image uploader is working fine (images successfully make it into Media) up until the point when I click “Insert into Post”, after which the image upload window turns blank and Internet Explorer shows the “Done but with errors on the page” icon. I don’t have any issues in Firefox but I need to be able to fix this in IE.

I’ve tried all sorts of solutions found in this forum such as disabling plugins, re-installing wp-admin and wp-includes and changing folder permissions all to no avail. Any ideas? Is there any code I could edit to fix this?
