BLEW UP MY SITE

  • Was using this for a long time on all my WordPress sites but this new update was never tested. IT WILL BLOW UP YOUR SITE.

    To fix this:
    1. FTP into your site and delete the plugin folder.
    2. Your site will load but you will see an error on your dashboard.
    3. Reinstall the plugin BUT DO NOT ACTIVATE IT!
    4. Then use WP to delete the reinstalled plugin. Then you are OK.

    After this horrible experience, I decided simple is best. I installed Easy WP Meta Description. It is so simple, it just works.

    Thanks for your feedback. We didn’t have have this issue yet, if you need need support please use the support forum. It’s usually a conflict problem.

    As you may have seen we reply to all questions there and it helps us improving the plugin.

    There was never a conflict with the other plugins. This happened with the latest update.

    OK that’s possible, but we never had any feedback of that after 5000+ websites updates already.

    installed even the addons on 50+ pages and running compare to yoast seo pro far faster…
