Folks! I was trying to add Google adsense for Search in my sidebar, but each submit button and radio button extends over the width of the sidebar. How can I make them smaller, so that it takes less space. Thanks in advance for any leads.

Never mind! I fixed it using the tag style=”width: 25px;” for the radio button and larger width for other buttons.

It’s not really a WordPress question, as Google decides what you may and may not do with the search box.
All you’re allowed to do is to choose whether you want the logo, input field and buttons besides or above each other.

I think you should trow a mail at the Google adsense team. They are usually helpful and fast.

What you could do WP wise, as you may not want to change the width of your sidebar, is to move the search box into the header and right align it there.

Thanks petit, but the Blix theme’s css was overriding the google html code, and was making the buttons bigger. I found the solution on this page.

    Good to hear!

Hi! I am having a similar problem adding adsense for search. But I cannot find the appropriate css file to edit. I am using the Blix theme. My site is at ashpics.com/blog

A screen shot of what happens when I use the adsense for search code can also be found here (where I include a search option for my domain too): techpaedia.com/docs/search.jpg

Does anyone know which lines I need to change in the Blix CSS to display adsense search correctly?

managed to fix the problem, see this thread
