blix theme-contact

  • Can someone tell how to make the contact.php show as a form on the blix theme? I am using wp2 and blix. In the themes folder, there is blix folder. Inside this folder there is a contact.php file but it does not show on the “home” page or any other page for that matter. How do i make it show up on the blix theme?

  • Ummm… you didn’t mention anything that you have tried yet, and that usually helps.

    So, I’ll just ask the basics. Did you create a new page and choose “contact.php” for the template? Did you get the carefully prepared instructions in the readme.html that you see in your Blix theme folder? Let me quote them below:

    -Select Write > Write Page
    -Fill in Page Title
    -Fill in Page Content. This will be displayed above the contact form.
    -Select ‘contact’ as Page Template
    -Select ‘contact’ as Page slug
    -Click Create New Page

    These are clearer in the readme.html file so you should check that out.

    BTW, my theme is based off Blix if you can believe that one (it’s more of a distant cousin now rather than a direct descendent).
