Block A Post Category In Blog Page

Hey there,

Couple ways to do this but the easiest might be to follow this tutorial. Just be sure to include a minus sign and the category id. If you dont add the minus, it will do the reverse and only show that category. Hope this helps!

Hello I’ve been trying to figure out where to insert or edit these codes to make the change, yet I can’t seem to find where in the css to do this. Can someone please help. Thank you in advance.

you would add the code into functions.php of your (child) theme.

That looks like exactly what I need Michael. Thank you! Guess I’m just still new at this being that I have no idea what I’m suppose to open up and search for in my wordpress to implement this action. I have been searching and searching through all my style.css codes to find this.

This is not working for me. I’ve added the code to both the functions.php of the main theme and the child them and either way did not remove the category from my blog. Please help!
