Hello, I use the “Content Timeline” block to display posts clearly.
However, only non-private entries are displayed in my timeline.
Private entries are not taken into account, even though I am logged in with the “Admin” role.
How can I force private entries to be displayed in the “content Timeline” block?

Ultimately, users in the “admin” and “editor” roles should see everything and visitors should only see the non-private blog entries in the content timeline.

    Hi @hanswilli,

Thanks for getting in touch with us.

Content timeline block shows heading and description along with dates but does not show any public or private entries. You can find the complete details here: https://wpspectra.com/docs/content-timeline/. Please confirm the block name so that I can assist you accordingly.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

    Have a nice day!

    Hello @mohsinbsf,
yes, the block name “Content Timeline” is correct.

My problem is that I can’t control which blog entries are displayed.
As I have understood so far, public blog entries are always displayed and private blog entries are not.
Even in the “Administrator” or “Editor” role, the private blog entries are not displayed in the “Content Timeline” block.

Thx in advance for a hint.

    Hi @hanswilli,

We have blog entries in post timeline block not on content timeline block. We don’t have option to get the private entries, however, you can get the private entries also by changing the query using action/filter provided in this guide: https://wpspectra.com/docs/filters-actions-for-post/

    Hi @mohsinbsf,

I meant the implementation of the code.
Do I have to make child theme and copy everything into the file “functions.php”?

    Thx Hans

    Hi @hanswilli,

Please create the child theme and add the code there. It will help to avoid code loss with the update.

    Have a nice day!
