You can add custom css to a block that’s found on a page or post.

But if you edit a template, say the header or sidebar, it just doesn’t work. It saves the CSS in the Editor UI, but it’s not reflected in the front-end.

Hope you can fix this in a future update!

    Hi @sareiodata,

Can you please share some steps to replicate this?

I tried replicating, but everything works as expected – https://vertis.d.pr/i/0HMK7e; https://vertis.d.pr/i/nVWNLk.

    Hi,

So tested it again with a brand new website and the 2024 theme (I see you used 2023).

And again, it’s not working for me. Please note there is only WP, 2024 and blockcss installed on this instance.

Any updates on this? I’m experiencing the same thing, does not work in templates. The version in Otter seems to work though.

    Hi,

Unfortunately we have no update so far. You can follow it here https://github.com/Codeinwp/otter-blocks/issues/2160

    Kind regards,

    Rodica

Thank you! I was playing with it further and it also appears the feature in Otter does not work in some nested situations, i.e. in a header that’s in a template. I’ll get some screenshots and add them, should that be a separate issue on github? (I assume this and otter share a codebase?)
