    Hi
I had same issue with the shortcodes button as from topic https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/block-editor-issues/
Unfortunately, neither Disable Gutenberg nor Classic Editor plugins have fixed it for me. And worst, before testing them I at least had button on Sportspress pages (teams, calendars…), but now it is totally gone.
Also, I am using Elementor page builder and adding calendars, or events or countdown via widget causes a series of error messages; what I want to show is finally displayed but after a very long page full ow warnings. If I use shortcodes then everything works fine!
But since I cannot use sp_button, I cannot see how the shortcode is set.
I wanted to show a renewed and better looking site to my football club, but with all of these issues this is very hard…

Of course fix the global issue might be welcome, but also have a full detailed list of how each shortcode can be set would be lot helpful to me!

    I mean something like this:
    event_list id=”ID” title=”Title” team=”ID_team” league=”ID_league” season=”ID_eason” venue=”0″ status=”any” format=”all” date=”0″ date_from=”default” date_to=”default” date_past=”” date_future=”” date_relative=”0″ day=”” number=”” order=”default” columns=”event,teams,time” show_all_events_link=”0″ align=”left”]

I am on WP 5.3.2 with Sportspress 2.6.20 and Neve theme (as I don’t have actual club them, which is FootballClub, although issue is not theme related) and localhost development.

    Thank you for any help
    Fabrizio

    Hi @efferre68 ,

We have plenty info for our shortcodes here: https://support.themeboy.com/category/337-shortcodes

    Thanks,

    Thanks Savvas,
I already knew and had seen the section, but I would need additional info about how to sharply build them.
Due to client structure, I think I might be using a few display features, like standings, matches and countdowns.
Via shortcode or widget I know I can select a team to display them for, but on that page is not specified how. And since I cannot use shortcodes nor widget on elementor, looks like I’m stucked.
Moreover, while for standings and calendars there’s an ID on each relevant set up window, there’s none for teams or leagues, how could I retrieve them?

To add I’d be interested in purchasing the Pro version to have all features as I mean to use it for a Tennis Club I am also developing website for and might be very useful to them to start manage tournaments.

Thanks for any effort you may put on fixing this gutenberg and page builder issue.

    Regards
    fabrizio

    Hi there!

Thanks for reaching out and I’m sorry for the delay.

I’m not sure if I get what you mean regarding “but on that page is not specified how”

Each shortcode has its options, and most of them are default items (for example the team ID) But if you have any questions about any shortcode in specific just let us know and we’d be glad to help you.

    Thanks!

Sorry, I have been busy on other projects and jut had time to come back on this now.

I am going deep into how to use SportPress although theme I am using (Neve by Themeisle) is not optimized for it.
Main issue is right all of the widgets do not work in Elementor. I am therefore using shortcodes and they work, but the [countdown] one: if using widget in Elementor, I can select calendar I want to set it for, but on the shortcode I only have event id.
And if I use [shortcode] only, which should be simplest format to use, it does not work at all, on WP editor neither (WP 5.4).

Am i missing or doing something wrong?

    Hi there!

    Thanks for your reply.

A quick way to check if there’s an issue with the shortcode syntax is to use a default theme and no additional plugins. If the syntax itself gets the results you want with a default theme then it’s probably a compatibility issue.

    Thanks!
