Block Editor Blocked by Yoast Premium

    So-
    The Yoast SEO plugin blocks and lays over the block editor and makes it very difficult if not impossible to use the 2 together.

    I’ve seen this topic posted several times.
    I have followed all the suggestions in those threads to fix it.
    I turn all the other plugins off. It is still a problem.

    I run the premium version of Yoast.
    My theme is TwentySixteen.
