Block Editor cannot load wordpress shortcode?

I need to insert some wordpress shortcode into one of these blocks. For example, I use the plugin Gravity Forms and would like to insert code such as:

[gravityform id=”1″ name=”formname”]

But instead of the form loading, the actual tag “[gravityform id=”1″ name=”formname”]” renders in my page as plain text. When I put the shortcode back into the main content region the form loads fine.

Any way around this?
