Block Editor Loses Formatting

  • When indenting a paragraph, the generated code is <p style=”padding-left: 30px;”>.
    The next time that code is opened in the editor it is saved as two paragraphs, with part of the code in each:
    <p
    style=”padding-left: 30px;”>

    After saving, the codes are displayed and the indent is lost. The same thing happens with other paragraph styles, like class=”copyright”.

    How are you indenting paragraphs?

    The reason I ask is because the Block Editor doesn’t have a way to indent paragraphs. It does have the Classic Block, and that has a paragraph indent button in it, but when I use that, I can’t reproduce your results.

    So, what are the steps you take to produce the problem?
