Block editor not recognised

    The settings page displays the message “You are using the legacy “Classic Editor” page builder. This makes visiting this page meaningless. Time to step forward and try the Block Editor!“

    I actually do have the Block Editor set as default in Settings – Writing.

    Can I ignore the Simply Gallery warning? But why is it displayed?

    You most likely have the Classic Editor installed, which is why you’re seeing this notification. If you are using Block Editor (partially) then this may work and you can safely ignore this notification.

    You were correct. It was not being used, so I have deleted the Classic Editor plugin which solves the issue.
