Block Editor not working

I just received your System Information, thank you for share this.

Checking you plugin list I can see that you use The Events Calendar Shortcode plugin that I believe can be causing your issue.

I’ve just setup a environment using the same plugins and versions as you and I can use block editor with events.

Can you check if you has block editor enabled under “Events > Settings > General > Activate Block Editor for Events”?

i just disabled The Events Calendar Shortcode, but nothing changed.

The Block Editor is enabled under Settings.

Before Update to V5.x of EC the Block Editor was working for Events.
The Website worked with same plugins before and after the Update.

I have the exact same issue as @rkwp. Block Editor is checked in the Events Calendar settings. Disabling Events Calendar Shortcode doesn’t fix it, and disabling other plugins doesn’t help it either. It used to work before the 5.0 version. Please help!

After several updates of Events Calendar, finally to 5.0.3.1) and Update to WP 5.4 the Problem isn’t fixed.
I also installed The Events Calendar Extension: Events Control. V1.1 worked so far. V1.2 didn’t update the installed Version V1.1, but installed as new Plugin. Deactivation of V1.1 results in missing the Events Advanced Controls in Editor (Classic Editor of course, Block Editor doesn’t work). So i activated V1.1 in parallel to V1.2 and Options are available again.

I have no access to Block-Editor in Events Calendar (Block Editor ist check in Options page!)

Please help!

Do you have any other plugin that should enable / disable Gutenberg or features there?

We figured out that other plugins that try to interact directly with Gutenberg can generate conflicts with Events Calendar

the only plugin, i know, is wp classic editor. In classic editor the block editor is checked out as default editor. But selection of classic editor is allowed.

i just deactivted classic-editor plugin and block-editor is working in events calendar.

But classic editor is a official plugin from wp-team, so it should cause no conflicts with events manager!

i found one more issue with now working block-editor.
It seems that no shortcuts are working. The tested shortcuts (tablepress, Mappress, OSM) are working fine in post and sites.

I’m going to check with my Development team if is there something we can do to allow this plugins to work in Events or if the fix should be released by plugin’s teams.
