Block editor only sees a handful of images in library

    I just updated WordPress to 5.8 and thought i would check out some of the new features. I opened a new page in the Block editor and inserted the Image with Text Block. I then clicked the option to add image from Library. It opened the library but only showed 33 available images. My Media Library actually has 416 images. Checked all setting, refreshed permalinks etc, but no change.
    I then deactivated EML and retried inserting an image. This time the library gave me 40 images and a load more button at the bottom of the window. Clicking the button rendered images 40-80.
    I then returned to reactivate EML. I then retried adding an image to the Block using the image selection button but again I was back to 33 images, no blank thumbnails, and no load more button.
    We seem to have a problem with EML.
    I am in Windows 10 Pro, Chrome Browser, WordPress 5.8, SiteOrigin “Unwind” Theme, and also have ShortPixel Plugin active. Hope you can offer some assistance.
