Block editor paragraph spacing

It is working fine on my end. Refer to this screenshot, please. And FYI, there’s nothing special on my dev site.

Could you please let us know how to replicate this? Is there any specific step to replicate this?

Thanks for the reply Herman. No idea how to replicate. What I noticed though is that Astra seemed to set many of my margins to zero. I had to fix it using custom css.

But the wp block editor doesn’t take notice of that. It seems to have it’s own styling. Please have a look at these screenshots

I am able to replicate this. It is happening when we have the Custom tab from the Customizer > Global > Block Editor chosen. Refer to this screenshot, please. And as you mentioned, this is happening only on the editor (backend) and it is working fine on the frontend.

I’m having the same issue, but my site is new and don’t have the option of choosing “legacy”.

I have an old site using Astra and I can see the legacy option for core block spacing. With that site, there is no issue with the block spacing when writing a new post.

With my new site, there is no legacy option for core block spacing, only “custom”.

It’s really inconvenient editing and formatting posts this way. Everything is fine on the front end, but there is way too much back and forth between editor and preview to get it right.

Please help!

Yeah I ended up ditching Astra. I was spending way too much time trying to make things look right
