Hi, after updating to the latest Gutenberg plugin version 17.0.2, clicking on publishpress blocks shows “This block has encountered an error”.

I can see the following error in the console: react-dom.min.js?ver=18:1 TypeError: Invalid value used as weak map key

Rolling back to Gutenberg 16.9.0 fixes the issue.

    Hi @dvapps ,

    Thanks for using PublishPress Blocks.

Actually, the Gutenberg plugin is not necessary. Gutenberg is already integrated into the latest version of WordPress. You can deactivate the Gutenberg plugin and still use PublishPress Blocks without any problems. Or, is there a specific reason you need the Gutenberg plugin?

We use it to control the version of Gutenberg used in case there are any issues, such as conflicts like this one

Would you mind providing more details on how to replicate the issue? Currently, I’m using PublishPress Blocks 3.2.1 and Gutenberg 17.0.2, and I can successfully create a new post using blocks from our plugin.

Please let me know if I’ve overlooked any steps in replicating the issue.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved. If you have any further questions, please reply again here, or you can start a new thread.

    Thanks,
