    Hi,
I’m noticing that a lot of suspected users access to the website from strande countries like Seychelles.
I think they are bots, also if they come from organic search.
I installed the free plugin, do you think it can help me to limitate this?
Is there a way to see a log about blocks to malicious accesses?
    Thanks,
    Alessandro

    Glad to help:

    1) “I installed the free plugin, do you think it can help me to limitate this?”

The free version does not block any IP addresses, but the pro version does. Unfortunately the forum rules here at www.ads-software.com prohibit any discussion of pro plugins, so if you have any questions about pro please reach us via our contact form. Or for any questions about free BBQ, they are welcome here.

    2) “Is there a way to see a log about blocks to malicious accesses?”

Not with the free version (see response to first question). Updated to add: if you have access to your site’s access/error log, it would be possible to check for any 403 response and examine that way. Ask your web host if unsure.

I hope this helps, let me know if I can provide any further infos.

Is there any way to see a simple count of how many blocks the free version has done?

@itsgotime it may be possible using custom code, but I have not tried it. I like the idea though, and will try to add something next update.

Hey @itsgotime, the next version of BBQ enables display of total blocked count on the plugin settings page. More info here. New version should be available later today or tomorrow. Thanks for the idea.
