    Hello Dotstore Team,

My priority is blocking fraud customers on checkout. Blocking fraud customers on User Registration is not important to me.

Pro version of your Fraud Prevention Plugin for WooCommerce, in addition to blocking fraud customer (on checkout) by email address (Free version) also blocks fraud customer by “the user first name” and by “the user last name.” Please answer the following questions:

    1. By “the user first name” and “the user last name,” do you mean a fraud customer’s first and last name as input in the order form (in a Billing Address and/or in a Shipping Address)? Or do you mean the first and the last name as input by the registrant on User Registration?

    2. Does specifying a first name and a last name of a fraud customer causes blocking only of people with matching both first and last name? For example, specifying first name: “Jane” and last name “Smith” blocks only people named “Jane Smith” but does not block any “John Smith” or “Jane Doe”. Please clarify.

    3. Does your plug block fraud customers by *all* specified criteria, that is by combining, for example, first name, and last name, and ZIP code? For example, does specifying first name “Jane” and last name “Smith” and ZIP “11111” block any Jane Smith with a billing or shipping address with ZIP code 11111?

4 Does your plug allow specifying email addresses with wild cards, for example “jsmith*@*.*”?

    Best regards,

    TK

    Hello Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out to us and for sharing your queries in details.

Please review our inline comments on your queries.

    1. By “the user first name” and “the user last name,” do you mean a fraud customer’s first and last name as input in the order form (in a Billing Address and/or in a Shipping Address)? Or do you mean the first and the last name as input by the registrant on User Registration?

ANS: Default it will check the Billing Address only but if you want to change to the Shipping address or both then that settings are available.

    2. Does specifying a first name and a last name of a fraud customer causes blocking only of people with matching both first and last name? For example, specifying first name: “Jane” and last name “Smith” blocks only people named “Jane Smith” but does not block any “John Smith” or “Jane Doe”. Please clarify.

ANS: It will check individual fields and if any field matches it will block the user. Like if found the block list name as First Name then it directly blocks those users and no need to check the next conditions.

ANS: No, it always checks individual fields like OR relation as mentioned above.

4 Does your plug allow specifying email addresses with wild cards, for example “jsmith*@*.*”?

ANS: In our plugin, you can block individual full email addresses or emails by a domain like if you want to block all the Gmail users then you need to add like “gmail.com”. Click here for the screenshot.

Please review our inline comment let us know still you need any further assistance.

    Best Regards,
