    Hello, we are very happy with the plugin so far, we havent bought it yet but we will soon.

    One problem we faced is that even we dont use google maps, the request is being sent… we would like to block it somehow…

    Did your plugin help in that matters? Here is a screenshot

    Could you privately share the URL of your site under ‘the page I need help with’?

    Are you saying that the Google Maps API is loaded, even while you son’t use Google Maps on your site?

    yes exactly.
    The page is behind a login right now.

    I guess is because we use The Event Calendar…but still there is desactivated. I can see in the sources the call to the api with that key, which is the default used by The Event Calendar.

    As i am not getting help from them, i want to block it..is it possible…

    @marincastro this seems kind of unnecessary, to load an API even if Google Maps is not embedded on the page. I understand that you are not receiving support from the plugin builder, but this seems an issue that would be best solved on their end.

    You could try if enabling the Complianz Google Maps integration works. However, if this works, it will only block the API call before consent is provided.

    You can privately share your URL under ‘the page I need help with’, just above the message box on this page. Please note that it is not allowed to share WP credentials with us. If you want to share a login to see the page front-end you can reach out to us at support(at)complianz.io.

    no, unfortunately i cant figure the problem out.

    I also checked Google maps inside Complianz Integration and I still see the requests.

    There is no ‘the page I need help with’ above the windows where im writing this message. i would like to give you the link and the credentials to see it because as i said its behind a login

    Hi @marincastro,

    I responded to your by e-mail. For the community, if a Google Maps API in another plugin is entered and saved, but the functionality is not used. It is possible the API requests are still made. If this is the case, Complianz will find the request, even if there are no maps visible on the front-end.
