    Hi, I just updated the Post Grid plugin and I’m now getting the following error message in Gutenberg “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.” I have the resource load type set as “Default” in Settings. Everything was working fine before the update. Help, please! Thanks

    Hi, thanks for the reply. Not sure how to attach screenshots here? It’s asking to insert image from URL….

    When clicking on the Post Grid Icon in the WordPress editor (all empty) :

    When trying to click on an existing post grid :

    the translation from french being “This block has encountered an error and cannot be previewed.”

    Mine appears the same:

    There is nothing appearing in the Block section in the Editor. It doesn’t seem to be affecting the front end of the site for blocks I inserted before the update, but they obviously can’t be edited in any way now, and I can’t add any new Post Grid blocks due to this error.

    Hi @sarlou, philco092

    I checked all layouts in our demo site with the Astra theme but didn’t get any issues like that. Check the screenshot – https://prnt.sc/9tM7H_ReuJa6

    Can you follow the below steps:

    1. Remove all cache from your server and browser.
    2. Can you please remove the block and make a new one?
    3. Delete the current version and reinstall the post grid plugin again.

    If still it doesn’t work after following the above steps please make a ticket to RadiusTheme support.

    Thanks

    Removing cache from server and browser hasn’t worked. Removing the block and making a new one presents the same error. Before I delete the current version and reinstall the plugin again, can I just ask what will happen to the configuration of all the Post Grid blocks I’ve already set up on my site? I’ve used it on many pages to filter my content and if I lose all the filter query data for each block and have to redo it all it will be a lot of work.

    Hi @sarlou,

    I’m very sorry to hear your problems. Can you please install the plugin to any staging site or any other site if you have one?

    If possible can you please make a ticket to RadiusTheme support? It’s very difficult to say why it happened to your site except debugging. If you come to the support we can fix it ASAP for you.

    Hi @philco092, @sarlou

    We have fixed the issue and released a new version (7.4.1) of the post grid plugin. Please update the plugin from?www.ads-software.com?. Hopefully, the error will gone.

    I’m having the same issue still even though I’m using the latest version (7.4.1).

    If I delete and redownload the plugin, it works fine till couple of edits and then error again.
    I have tried all the methods mentioned before in this thread.

    Open file RtTpg.php (wp-content/plugins/the-post-grid/app/).

    Find require_once DIR . ‘./../vendor/autoload.php’;

    Change to require_once DIR . ‘/../vendor/autoload.php’;

    Good luck!
