Block IP range like IRC on discussion page

    Can you block IP’s from commenting in WordPress like you can on irc? Here is an example:

    255.555.*.*

    So anyone that has an IP that starts with those two numbers will not be able to leave any comments.

  • Gotta admit that if you’re doing that, I’d just block them totally. Do a google search for ‘htaccess deny’ for details if you’re interested.
