• WordPress 6 2 Release causes

” The editor has encountered an unexpected error.”

When trying to use a default block pattern built in. it doesn’t load and shows “copy post text” “copy error ” buttons and they aren’t clickable. i’m not sure how to fix the problem

  • Hi @4blkstars

Are any other plugins active while this is happening? Can you reproduce with no plugins active while using a default theme?

If you don’t want to test live, a staging site is helpful. Another route for testing on a live site is using https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/health-check/. You can enable troubleshooting mode to test as if all plugins are deactivated while the live site is untouched.

    Hi @courane01

I’ve used the built in health check and it hasn’t dected any errors I’ve deactivated plugins, used WordPress 2023 theme and I’m still seeing the error I have also cleared the cache. Which lead me to believe its the latest update thats causing the prolem as its the same thing on a test subdomain.

Are you able to share screenshots or a short video of what happens before and after this?

@courane01 It seems to be a mobile error. IT works fine on desktop view. Maybe you can try that to see if you have that error too or iys only on my end?

    thank you.
