Block Style but with title next to featured image

What do I need to change to get the titles of the post next to (on the right side of) the featured image – instead of them being below (I’m using the BLOCK format).

I’m wanting it to look like this

I’d also like to get rid of the little arrows before the title. I’m not sure what’s creating them – it doesn’t seem to bullets – because when I turn the bullets on, there is a round bullet just before the picture.
