It would be great to be able to block all users that have the word

    admin

in it. As far as I see, wildcards are not working, right? It would be great to enter

*admin* in order to block any attempt that contains the word admin in it

    Hi @martin_bissig

If you are referring to the option “Immediately block the IP of users who try to sign in as these usernames” then you must enter precise usernames only and wilcards are not allowed as it opens up the possibility of accidental blocking too much.

Yes I refer to that option.

It’s a pitty, I have some users that always login with the same string in their username and this option really would help me to block that user from signing up.

    Hi @martin_bissig

    Thank you for the update.

Yes, you can only enter exact usernames that you want to be blocked.
