Block Visibility Screen size

Hi @raazwebcity,

Thank you for reaching out. Some third-party blocks (and a few WordPress core block) do not support CSS classes and therefore will not let the Screen Size control in Block Visibility work correctly. Can you let me know what block type you are attempting to use with the Screen Size control?

In the meantime, a handy workaround is to place the block inside of the Group block and then apply the Screen Size visibility settings to the Group block instead.

Thank you for replying.
I have created two sections in page visual editor.

In Left sections I have added shortcode and on the right sections I have added jetpack block named “story”.

Even after removing that block i tried different block and attempt to hide the screen size for mobile using block visibility. It didn’t work.

Hi Raj,

Thank you for the followup. The Shortcode block does not support CSS classes. I also tested the Jetpack Story block and it also does not appear to support CSS classes.

That said, there is a very simple workaround that will get you up and running in no time! Simply place the Shortcode and/or Story block inside of a Group block. Then apply the Screen Size control settings to the Group block. Because the Shortcode and/or Story block is inside of the Group block, they will also be hidden whenever the Group block is.
