Blockbase and HEIWA

  • Before we start: Though Heiwa is a child theme to Blockbase, made for wp.org it is clearly stated, that the site is working on self-hosted WP, too.

    Question:

    The theme can′t be installed in WP at my WP-Installation (new one).

    By installation it says that Blockbase is necessary to be installed before,
    but this has already happend and nothing changed: The themestill does not show up in order to be activated.

    What′s the problem here?

    Ok so to check, is both Blockbase and the Heiwa theme installed? If not, it can be downloaded from this link and then installed onto the site. https://public-api.wordpress.com/rest/v1/themes/download/heiwa.zip

    I’m having the same issue and cannot find how to resolve it.

    ?I’ve started to build my site on wp.com then I’ve booght a .com hosting with site ground and I’m currently trying to re-install the Heiwa theme.

    I’ve downloaded it and uploaded but it always give me error beacuse it said tere isn’t the parent theme blockbase-wpcom (non trovato) but I’ve downloaded it and activated.

    Do you know why? and What can I do? Thanks

    Where did you locate that blockbase theme and Heiwa theme?

    I curious as with both installed each should function. Also who is the hosting provider?
