[SOLVED] Blocked by Wordfence

  • Solved: blocking was done from Wordfence from a site in a higher level WordPress installation in a higher level folder. Added wordfecne to this subfolder installation as well, and did not have the problem anymore.

    Using v6.4.7 and whenever I want to change plugin settings, e.g. change the email sender’s name and address, I get this error from Wordfence:

    A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site

    Your access to this service has been limited. (HTTP response code 403)

    If you think you have been blocked in error, contact the owner of this site for assistance. Block Technical Data Block Reason: A potentially unsafe operation has been detected in your request to this site
