    Hey,

Every time I try to log into my dashboard I am prompted with this message:

    24854999

You have been redirected here from https://www.kazzledazz.com which is protected against brute-force attacks by GOTMLS.NET

Which is strange because, last year I had malware on my page and installed your plug-in and changed my sign-in url. The url that I am using should not be blocked because it is custom. I’m not sure why this is happening.

Please help me get access to my page again. Thanks

This is a session error. Something on your server has changed and your sessions are not persisting. I see you are using an older version of my plugin. If you can upload the files from the new version of my plugin then it will work even without the session functionality.

You can also manually disable the login protection by commenting out the first line of code in the wp-config.php file (just add // right after the <?php so that it says <?php // …).

Let me know if you need more help with either of these solutions. You can also contact me directly: eli AT gotmls DOT net

Thanks for your reply Eli. It seems like I can’t update my plugin without logging in– which I can’t do. I just downloaded the updated version, but I don’t know how to get it on my website.

My page is a WP via Ipage by the way. not sure if that info helps

Without logging into WordPress you can use FTP or your FileManager on ipage to upload those new files into the plugins directory on your site. That is how you would perform a manual upgrade.

Hey so I tried doing that but I am unable to upload gotmls-es_ES.mo and gotmls-es_ES.po files . I’m wondering if I should just delete the entire plug in and re install. Are you saying that this error message is solely because I need an upgrade?

Are you saying that this error message is solely because I need an upgrade?

No, I am saying this error message is solely because your server is not able to support a persistent sessions any more. You need to upgrade so that my plugin will work without a valid session.

I am unable to upload gotmls-es_ES.mo and gotmls-es_ES.po files . I’m wondering if I should just delete the entire plug in

Those are language files and are not critical to the functionality of the plugin. You can delete the whole language folder and you don’t even need to upload it again. You can certainly just delete the whole plugin too, just make sure to install the new version when you re-install.

please let me know if you need any more help.

    Aloha, Eli

You are the best! Thanks, all good now. ??

I am getting this same error (exact error pasted below) on my site, lorasweightedblankets.com. As far as I can tell, I had the most recent version already (I’m good about keeping plugins updated), but the error just started today. I uploaded the .zip file of the newest version of the plugin inside my server’s file manager, and extracted the .zip into the gotmls folder.

    Same error.

I think, based on what you said above, that the next step is this, but I wanted to verify first and then find out if this is a temporary change or a permanent one:

You can also manually disable the login protection by commenting out the first line of code in the wp-config.php file (just add // right after the <?php so that it says <?php // …).

Well… now it’s working. So I guess I’m okay. I’ll be back if I’m having more trouble.
