Blocked IP addresses do not appear on blocked list

    Hi,

    1. Until a few weeks ago, the IP addresses that were automatically blocked by Wordfence used to appear in the Blocked List in Wordfence plugin menu

    2. Now even though no changes have been made to the Options Setting, newly blocked IP addresses do not appear in this list

    3. The IP Block Settings is for one month.

    4. Live Traffic shows IP addresses that are Blocked with the Red Color Circle appearing next to it

    5. No changes have been made to the settings and yet new Auto-Blocked IPs are not getting listed in the Blocked Section

    6. The Menu Option Firewall shows the latest data of Successful Logins IP but no newly failed logins IP addresses

    7. The list of Top IP blocked works and changes regularly as before.

    8. What could be causing the inability of Wordfence to record newly Blocked IPs? Wordfence is able to communicate and record other data since Manual Scan works, email alerts works and everything except a record of newly Blocked IP address works.

    And yes, in the Blocked Section – I have the button Enabled to Show Auto-Blocked IPs.

    But nothing new appears there for a few weeks, while Live Traffic shows there are newly auto-blocked IPs.

    Hi @udey,

    Are you looking at WAF rule blocks, as they aren’t assigned a block expiration time and do not appear on the Firewall > Blocking page?

    Also, do you have 1 month block time set for both Brute Force > Amount of time a user is locked out and Rate Limiting > How long is an IP address blocked when it breaks a rule? These sections also need the toggle switch set to ON, I know that sounds obvious, but is sometimes missed so I like to double-check.
