Blocked IPs not staying blocked

    The Live Scan “Logins and Logouts” tab to block unauthorized IPs login attempts doesn’t retain the blocked setting.

    I get many (20+) unauthorized login attempts and go through the list blocking them. By the time I get to the bottom of the list and check the beginning again, the one’s I’ve blocked are unblocked (down to about halfway on the list). Going back and re-blocking them works, but then sometimes I see others I’ve blocked down the list are unblocked. What gives? This is annoying.

    BTW, it would be so much nicer to have check boxes and a submit button for blocking IPs instead of the page reloading after each block.

  • Hi,

    Are you wanting to make the blocks permanent? If so, block them on the Live Traffic page and then go to the Blocked IP page and click Make Permanent. When you block on the Live Traffic page, the IPs only stay blocked for the amount of time that is set in Options. Does this help?
