Blocked My IP By Mistake & Can’t Remember email address for recovery email

    I Mistakenly blocked an IP address, using wordfence, that seems to have shut out access to my site – I can not remember the email address I used for the site for WOrdfence to send me the recovery email – Please can someone advice how best to get access to the back office area of my website again

    Hello @cononye and thanks for reaching out to us!

    Please use FTP/SFTP — or any file manager your web host provides via their administration panel. Look inside the /wp-content/plugins/ directory and rename the wordfence directory. Once you have logged in to your WordPress admin you can name the folder back again and change the setting that caused you to be locked out.
