Blocked robots.txt

    I’m getting a blocked message from Google. I went to the Tools section and I don’t have a FILE EDITOR in my tools and when I go to my server root to edit my robots.txt file there isn’t one. How do I resolve this issue? Thanks.

    I’m using Version 20.2.1.

    Hello @torahboy

    Thanks for reaching out about the file editor in the plugin. If it’s missing, your WordPress installation may have disabled file editing. Your wp-config.php file for this directive:
    define( 'DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT', true );

    You may remove that line, but contacting your web hosting provider first is better.
